Hicks Twins' One Year Cake Smash

I've had the delight of documenting these twins' first year of life with milestone sessions every 3 months. We always have a good time and this session was no exception. For their one year session, we decided to photograph them at their home in Knoxville, Tennessee. We wanted to do a cake smash session with some lifestyle photos as well.

We started out in their nursery getting some lifestyle photos including mom and dad.

Then we moved to the front porch to recreate a photo that was taken shortly after they were born.

Then we moved to the backyard. We had the cutest set up for their cake smash, complete with their stuffed animals attending the birthday party!

Mom wanted to include Grandpa's hat in a few photos!

Then we brought out their birthday smash cakes made by Krista's Cakes in Knoxville. Cuteness ensued!

I'd say this session was a smashing success!
